So last Saturday, we were driving down Bountiful Blvd trying to find the park where Mike's 10 year reunion was being held. When all of a sudden Mike sees a cop car with its lights on behind him and pulls over to the side of the road. Turns out...he was driving 17 mph over the speed limit and the cop had been following us for several minutes. He did not seem happy. To make matters worse, Mike didn't even have is driver's license on him. After the cop had gotten our information and walked back to his car to write the ticket, Hayden shouted from the back seat, "Dad...YOU'RE FIRED!!" I don't know where he got that from, but it lightened the mood a bit.
(The cop was nice enough not to give us a ticket, however, he did give Mike a big lecture on how he needs to pay attention more when he drives.)

LOL! Imagine that - Mikey not paying attention... ha ha ha. You rock Mike! It was good seeing ya at the reunion. I'm still upset w/ Audrey for winning the Cabela's gift card - that was mine. We're going to call ya to go boating.

Good one Hayden! I was a little worried when I saw the title of the blog, but was glad to read that you weren't really fired! Kids always can make you laugh, can't they! I am glad that you didn't get the ticket, you and Justin have the same luck! Justin gets pulled over but never gets a ticket...... except for in Arizona... I hope our luck doesn't change on that!
I hope the reunion was fun. I have to miss my 30th this month cuz Kelsey and I will be in DC! I can't believe 30 years . . . Hey, for some reason I couldn't access your latest picture. Said I didn't have permission. Do you need to put us on an access list or someting? Just wondering.

When I saw the title of your blog, I have to admit I was a little worried......but then excited because If you have no job there.......you will move back here...right??
By the way, we are having a birthday party for Ava on Sunday at the cabin. She would really like Hayden to come. I know it's a long drive for you guys, so don't feel like you are obligated to come. I just wanted you guys to know that you were invited.
