Broken Apart

Hayden: Mom, tomorrow can we send Elle a letter? Cause we're not broke apart anymore. (Elle is the girl from school that he's totally in love with)

Me: You guys broke apart?

Hayden: Yeah, she came to school one day and didn't like me anymore, but now we're put back together again!

We're in trouble if he's already having girlfriend issues! But oh so funny!

So You Think You Can Dance?

I promise he didn't learn how to dance like this from us. Well..... maybe from Mike.

Medicine Drink

Today Hayden made a "medicine drink" that consisted of:

Ketchup
Mustard
Strawberry Syrup
Chocolate Syrup
Milk
Water

Me: How does it taste?
Hade: Um, good. Kids don't like it though, but I'm only a pretend kid. I'm really an adult...my wife died.
Me: How!?
Hade: I was a police officer at work and she was at home and the baby came out of her tummy.....then I had to stay home with her (the baby) and my wife had to go to my job. Then she got shot by a bad guy!

I don't know where he comes up with this stuff.

After putting two pictures on the fridge with a magnet Andy got all excited, raised his hand, and yelled, "I SAVED THE DAY!"

The boys had a blast just hangin' at the beach while I sprinted around trying to take pictures of them. They got a kick out of throwing rocks at the "jellyfish"!

We've Even Got Dollars!!

After weeks of anticipation, Hayden was finally able to set up his Limeade Stand. To his disappointment, we were not able to build one from scratch (although he has tried on several occasions). He and his friend Audrey took turns counti
ng the abundance of cash, and flagging down cars. They made a pretty good team!

Hade: I know how we can sell more! We'll pretend we're robbers, then the policemen will come to get us, and we can sell the policeman lemonade!

Audrey: Then they'll put us in jail!

Hade: Well, they'll see that we're pretending!

Andy's quote of the week: Look Hayden, a boooger! I'm gonna eat it okay?

I Want To Live At Disney World

We were blissfully in Disney World for the first part of the month and are now back to reality. Mike's parents took the whole family and it was so much fun to be able to hang out with everyone! Hayden keeps telling me he wants to live at Disney World cause our house is boring. Well...can't compete with Disney. My post is late as usual, but here are a ton pictures from the vacation for the 2 people that still read my blog.

Show me the true-blooded Aggie from Utah....

Last weekend Hayden and Mike made the road trip up to Boise to watch the Aggies play in the NCAA tournament. They went up with Grandpa Bob, David, Matt, Nicole and Justin.

On the way up, Mike was having a conversation with Grandpa Bob when Hayden leaned over and whispered to Mike:

Hayden: "Don't listen to Grandpa."
Mike: "Why?"
Hayden: "Because his stories are boring."

It was a long drive but they had a lot of fun. Hayden liked the basketball game (except when it got too loud) and loved staying at the hotel. Too bad the Aggies lost by one point--but if you ask Hayden, he'll say that they won. If only Mike could have a selective memory like that he wouldn't have been depressed all weekend.

Hayden took a lot of pictures of the game.
