Getting Some Sweet zzz's

When I check on Andy before I go to sleep he is ALWAYS sleeping in some totally random positon or with 10 things piled on top of him. Here's a sample...

After freaking out at 3am cause Andy was missing from his bed, we found him in the family room snoozing in a laundry basket.

First Day of School

Hayden started 1st grade this week and Andy had his first day of Preschool. Hayden is actually really excited about school this year because his favorite buddy is in his class. I was really nervous for Andy because he gets super nervous going anywhere without a member of his family. He really surprised me and was thrilled for his first day of school. It might have helped that school was at his "girlfriends" house.

Random Update

Hayden was awarded Student of the Month in his class. We were invited to a school assembly where they surprise the student with the award. Hayden was so excited when they called his name!

So Andy has totally been cracking us up lately.

Andy: Vampires, when they turn to people, they put underwear on their head.

Andy: This thing is so disgusting! What does disgusting mean again?

We were driving past Hayden's school after hours when Hayden said:

Oh my hell, there are still people at my school!

Me: Yeah, but we say heck, okay bud.

Hayden: But hell sounds so much better!

Hayden was just asking to sign up for something he saw on a commercial, when I told him they don't always tell the truth on commercials he said, " You mean Walmart doesn't really help you save money?"

Hayden lost his first tooth! He left a note for the Tooth Fairy asking if he could keep his tooth, the next day he swallowed it on accident.

Hayden had an official grand opening for his doctors office. He taped a medical sign on our garage with arrows pointing to his office. I think he was a little disappointed when people didn't start pouring into his office. He's kept busy with family exams though.

So here are some more pictures of cute baby Sophia. She is still so tiny and we are all loving every second we spend with her. The boys are constantly competing for her attention, which is oh so cute and overwhelming at times. :) She has two very protective brothers.

Sophia Kate Steed

Well, she's finally here! Sophia Kate Steed entered the world on November 3, 2010 weighing only 5 lbs, 8 oz. She is so tiny and soooo cute. The boys have fallen in love with her already. Here is a flood of pictures. Enjoy!

Broken Apart

Hayden: Mom, tomorrow can we send Elle a letter? Cause we're not broke apart anymore. (Elle is the girl from school that he's totally in love with)

Me: You guys broke apart?

Hayden: Yeah, she came to school one day and didn't like me anymore, but now we're put back together again!

We're in trouble if he's already having girlfriend issues! But oh so funny!

I promise he didn't learn how to dance like this from us. Well..... maybe from Mike.

Medicine Drink

Today Hayden made a "medicine drink" that consisted of:

Ketchup
Mustard
Strawberry Syrup
Chocolate Syrup
Milk
Water

Me: How does it taste?
Hade: Um, good. Kids don't like it though, but I'm only a pretend kid. I'm really an adult...my wife died.
Me: How!?
Hade: I was a police officer at work and she was at home and the baby came out of her tummy.....then I had to stay home with her (the baby) and my wife had to go to my job. Then she got shot by a bad guy!

I don't know where he comes up with this stuff.

After putting two pictures on the fridge with a magnet Andy got all excited, raised his hand, and yelled, "I SAVED THE DAY!"

The boys had a blast just hangin' at the beach while I sprinted around trying to take pictures of them. They got a kick out of throwing rocks at the "jellyfish"!
